English version of On Picasso. This new publication from the Antonio Saura Archives Foundation offers English-speaking readers the complete collection of texts that the painter and writer Antonio Saura dedicated to Pablo Picasso, providing new insights into the work of the Malaga-born painter. Saura's texts, which include the fierce, ironic, and now-famous pamphlet Against Guernica, as well as the previously unpublished Imaginary Letter to Pablo Picasso, are now available to English-speaking readers. Picasso's work is analyzed critically and originally by one of the painters who not only understood Picasso with intelligent insight but also masterfully overcame the challenge of painting during and after Picasso's time.
