A very particular, quality but difficult coloring book, clearly not for a beginner. If you are interested in art history, this book is for you. The English language book offers you a series of coloring works of art, classified by increasing dates: we start with a hunting painting from the Egyptian tomb of Nebamun (about 1350 BC) to end with an Aboriginal work from 1993 via Botticelli, Le Titien, Velazquez, Vermeer, Hokusai, Manet, Rousseau, Klimt, Modigliani, Miro, Dali, Frida Kahlo, etc. The right board is for coloring, the left board shows you a small image of the work if you wish to "reproduce" it or at least get as close to it as possible and a small text presenting the artist and his work. The paper is of good quality.
